Carriere Motion Appliance

Carriere Motion Appliance (CMA) is used to treat significant sagital discrepancies shorten orthodontic treatment by months. The motion appliance consists of a bar with a hook for elastic which connect to a button on a molar on the opposite arch. A clear essix retainer is then worn over the button. The motion appliance corrects the posterior occlusion to an ideal Class I relationship. It is used at the beginning of treatment when there is a large overjet or underbite and is our most efficient and patient friendly sagital correction appliance.
